Supplier: OMEGA BIOTEK
Description: Modified from the E.Z.N.A.® Plant RNA kit, the E.Z.N.A.® Fungal RNA kit uses an improved buffer system that is more efficient for fungal samples. This kit provides convenient and rapid methods for the isolation of total RNA from a variety of fungal species. Rather, the method involves a simple and rapid precipitation step for removal of much of the polysaccharides and phenolic compounds commonly found in fungal tissues. In combination with HiBind® RNA spin columns, this method permits purification of high quality RNA from as much as 200 mg tissue. The system is also efficient enough to purify total RNA from as little as 10 mg of tissue or 100 cells. Purified RNA can be used for many downstream applications such as RT-PCR, northern blotting, Poly(A)+ mRNA purification, and differential display.

Description: These vacuum filtration systems are designed for the preparation of buffers, tissue culture media, microbiological media and other biological fluids. They feature large diameter Pall High Performance PES membranes for guaranteed performance and maximum throughput.

Supplier: VWR Collection
Description: Designed for ease of use and safe operation, the shiroGEL horizontal electrophoresis systems and accessories are built to withstand the rigours of everyday use. For leakproof performance the gel boxes and gel trays are moulded from thick acrylic. UV transparent gel trays aid in visualisation of samples. Cassettes protect the electrodes and allow for easy replacement. Gel casting is simple with the durable rubber casting gates. Slots in the sides of the trays allow for easy comb placement. The two-piece design of the combs allows for vertical adjustment, giving the user control over the depth of the well. The combs supplied with the systems are 1,5 mm thick. Multiple combs, including those compatible with multichannel pipettes and different thicknesses, are also available. The 'EasyLift' gel box lid is easily removed using the side tabs and pressure pads. The lid is domed, to prevent condensation from dripping onto the gel, and is surrounded by a drip ring, to help recover the condensate and maintain buffer concentration.

Supplier: OMEGA BIOTEK
Description: The E-Z 96® Total RNA Kit is designed for isolation of total cellular RNA from up to 5×10⁶ cultured cells or soft tissues. This kit can process single or multiple samples in less than 60 minutes. Utilising HiBind® silica plate technology, the need for phenol/chloroform extractions, CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, and precipitation with isopropanol or LiCl are eliminated. Samples are lysed in a denaturing lysis buffer which inactivates RNases. Binding conditions are adjusted and the lysate is transferred to a 96-well HiBind® RNA Plate where the RNA is purified via three wash steps. High quality RNA is eluted in RNase-free water. RNA purified using the E-Z 96® Total RNA method is ready for applications such as RT-PCR, qPCR, differential display, microarrays, and other downstream applications.
Supplier: OMEGA BIOTEK
Description: The Mag-Bind® PX blood RNA kit allows for the isolation of total RNA from 2,5 ml of whole blood that has been stored in PAXgene® Blood RNA tubes. Stabilised blood samples are first spun down and the nucleic acid pellets are washed and recollected. After washing, the nucleic acid pellet is dissolved into a specially formulated resuspension buffer. At this point the samples can be transferred to 96-well plates for processing in robotic liquid handlers and magnetic processors. High quality intact RNA can be isolated in less than 90 minutes.

Supplier: THERMO ORION
Description: These bench top meters with conductivity module meet most challenging applications for pH, ion concentration, mV, ORP and temperature. The meters offer interchangeable measurement modules that allow multiple users to customise four separate channels to meet their specific requirements.

Supplier: ION EXCHANGE INDIA
Description: INDION Lab-Q smart (Type II) water maker produces pure water which is essential for creating chemical reagents, microbiological buffers and media that are consistently pure. It is an excellent source of water for glassware washing and as feed water for laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, laboratory dishwashers and water baths. It is also a recommended source of pre-treated water for user in Type I ultrapure systems. It produces water with very low total organic carbon (TOC) content and conforms to ISO 3696 and corresponding ASTM standards. Portable tap water can be directly connected to INDION Lab-Q Smart to produce Type II pure water. It is easy to install and has several built-in safety features for reliable and consistent Type II water supply. For feed water with higher level of TDS i.e. >500 ppm a customised pre-treatment module can be designed prior to INDION Lab-Q Smart.

Catalog Number: (R6731-01)
Supplier: OMEGA BIOTEK
Description: The E.Z.N.A.® DNA/RNA isolation kit is designed for the simultaneous isolation of both genomic DNA and total RNA from the same cells or tissues. The sample is first lysed and homogenised in a special denaturing buffer, spun to pellet RNA and undigested particles, and then the supernatant is applied to a HiBind® DNA spin column to bind DNA. The RNA pellet is dissolved and purified by a HiBind RNA spin column. Since there is no need to divide the sample into two parts for separate purification procedures, maximum yield of DNA and RNA can be purified from the entire sample.

Supplier: OMEGA BIOTEK
Description: The E.Z.N.A.® bacterial DNA kit allows the rapid and reliable isolation of high quality total cellular DNA from a wide variety of bacterial species. This kit uses optimised lysis condition and up to 1×10⁹ bacterial cells can be processed for each column. There are no organic extractions, thus reducing plastic waste and hands on time to allow multiple samples to be processed in parallel. Bacterial cells are grown to log-phase and harvested. The cell wall is removed by lysozyme digestion and bead beating, followed by protease digestion. Following lysis, binding conditions are adjusted and the sample is applied to a HiBind DNA spin-column. Two rapid wash steps remove trace salts and protein contaminants, and DNA is finally eluted in water or elution buffer. Purified DNA can be directly used in downstream applications without the need for further purification.
