Supplier: VWR Collection
Description: Manufactured from a strong nylon mesh with evenly spaced mesh pores, these cell strainers are sterile, easy to use devices for quickly isolating primary cells to consistently obtain a uniform single-cell suspension from tissues. Designed to protect valuable flow cytometry and cell sorting instrumentation by reliably removing clumps and debris from cell suspensions and clinical samples prior to analysis.
Supplier: VWR Collection
Description: These soft, non permeable 63,5 µm thick aluminium foils, with strong medical grade adhesive, eliminate the need for heat sealing devices or mats during thermal cycling. Compared to other aluminium foils, these foils have less tendency to roll back on themselves when removing the backing paper, and fit well to the plate during application.
Supplier: VWR Collection
Description: VWR® Basic SPP frocks are manufactured from a strong, lightweight and breathable, spunbonded polypropylene (SPP) fabric, which protects against dirt, grime and certain dry particulates in non hazardous environments.

Supplier: IKA JANKE KUNKEL
Description: The high pressure homogeniser HPH is an inline dispersing machine for energy-efficient, continuous production of superfine emulsions. Compared to other IKA inline machines, the dispersing action of the high pressure homogeniser HPH is not based on the rotor/stator principle. The improved homogenising effect is achieved within the homogeniser by means of spontaneous decompression of the liquid from max. 2000 bar to an ambient pressure. With the same energy input, the IKA HPH produces considerably finer emulsions than conventional toothed ring dispersers. The use of high pressure homogenisers is recommended when a disintegration down to the nano range is required; however, these machines do achieve a smaller flow capacity than conventional dispersers. The high pressure homogeniser consists of a high pressure piston pump and a downstream homogenising valve. The pressure build-up within the HPH occurs by means of one or more piston pump(s) which, with the help of ceramic pistons, ensure(s) a volume flow that is independent of pressure and virtually pulsation free. The desired homogenising pressure can be infinitely adjusted. The pressure is reduced in a selected adjustable gap of the homogenizing valve. The quick pressure decrease in a moving medium leads to extremely high turbulences and cavitations, which then bring about the grinding of the raw product. The machine's design can be adapted to fit customer-specific tasks. The high pressure homogeniser is available in two sizes with either one or more piston(s) of varying Ø. These parameters determine the max. homogenising pressure (800 or 2000 bar) possible for a specific machine type, the minimal permitted feeding volume (up to 10 ml) as well as homogenising results and flow capacities.

Supplier: VWR Collection
Description: These microprocessor-controlled, large capacity stirrers are ideal for high volume applications. There are two models to choose from depending on capacity required. Their powerful magnetic drive is capable of mixing high viscosity materials, the stainless steel base offers durability and added stability. Ideal for biotech, pharmaceutical, university and industrial pilot-scale applications. Other applications include mixing viscous materials, polymers and pilot-scale work.

Supplier: OMEGA BIOTEK
Description: The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA 96 plus kit allows rapid and reliable isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from a wide variety of difficult to lyse and high polysaccharide plant species and tissues. The system utilises a CTAB-based lysis buffer without the need for a chloroform or other organic solvent steps. The proprietary wash buffer systems eliminate polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, and enzyme inhibitors from plant tissue lysates. This kit is designed for manual or fully automated high throughput preparation of genomic, chloroplast, and mitochondrial DNA. The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA plus kit also provides greater flexibility than silica plate based systems as partial plates can be used and can be scaled up to a 24-well format with the appropriate magnetic stand. The streamlined protocol can be easily adapted on most robotic liquid handling platforms. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, qPCR, restriction digestion, hybridisation applications, as well as more demanding applications, such as RAPD.
